I think from the title it´s obvious that today I'm going to talk about flying. I have to say that before writing this I was enraged with low cost companies; but then I arrived to the shop and started surfing the net when I found 6 AFI videos on Kroq from AFI's CD release party yesterday and that kind of mellowed me down ( check that on Kroq website, I've fallen in love with the "Just like heaven" cover), and by the way my Crash Love CD is not here yet (shame on you Mr. Postman) I'm starting to despair.
Anyway, going back to my subject I really hate low cost companies. so here goes my sad story, I hope you enjoy it.
My brother-in-law is getting married, in Germany. I was pretty pissed since I had to close the shop for two days to attend the wedding (in case you're wondering I'm an Optometrist and I own an Eye clinic here in Spain) and moreover I was pissed because my in-laws hate me (okay, I assure you I'm not overdoing it). So we booked this flight with our friends and yesterday we received these email telling us that the flight was cancelled, so we had to find another one, that is what made miserable. I'm going to have to wake up (no scratch that, I'm not going to sleep at all) at 2:00 am to hop in to a car and make like 500 km to go to another city to catch a stupid plane to a wedding where nobody wants me. Ja! Isn't it funny? (for your information Spain is a very small country and for us more than half an hour in a car is like a huge journey).
so my brother-in-law (who I will call from now on Mr. Ungrateful) is getting married to a German Lawyer (I hate lawyers) who got pregnant when she finished her studies (anybody recognizes the scheme) and she 's like 35 five or something, she has never done anything in her life and from where I'm sitting it looks like she is pretty content doing nothing at all. I can't understand people like that, I really think one of the reasons that this world is so screwed up is because of people like that, whose only inspiration in life is doing nothing all. Oh! Come on , get up and do something! Anything! just don't spend your life watching the days pass you by.
So I guess this is enough for today, must I remind you that I hate Low cost companies! And did you catch on the mutual hate between me and my husbands family? so this is pretty much my life today, I know is not something profound or anything, but there are days for everything, for complaining, and days for trying to change the world, days for having all your hopes stamped down, and even days for having fun (today is not one of these days)...
